Challenge:

For a new campaign regarding the truck model MAN TGX, innovation.rocks worked together with the vehicle manufacturer MAN to find an innovative way to promote the truck. With the use of Virtual Reality a tool was planned, that should promote the benefits of the truck in a new manner and be easily distributable to potential customers.

Solution:

Based on that innovation.rocks developed a Virtual Reality app and a webVR technology, that allows to experience the interior of the TGX without being even close to a truck. innovation.rocks developed the webVR at first and expanded the experience with an app developed with Unity, that allows an offline usage. MAN Fans, clients and truck drivers get the chance to take a virtual seat in the driver cabin by following the URL or starting the app. Different pop-ups offer interesting facts about the TGX that can be revealed by a simple click. The user even gets the chance to change the color or switch between the day- or nightview. The VR app project was combined with a Mailing, where specific VR glasses made of cardboard were sent to the clients to include their smartphones and enjoy the real Virtual Reality experience.
