At 2018’s IAA show MAN faced the challenge to present their new concept truck, the CitE, to the whole audience and not just to a limited number of visitors. Therefore they consulted in advance to develop an Augmented Reality experience to push the processes of marketing and to give everyone the chance to explore the CitE, even after IAA.


The end product became an innovative Augmented Reality app with interactive features to explore the interior and exterior of the truck by a few clicks on the smartphone. The app enables to place the 3D model of the CitE where- and whenever desired and inspires with playful functions as the x-ray mode, the bird view and many more. The additional integration of app analytics supports the evaluation of marketing data and helps MAN to maintain their role in the digital market.
